Registered Behavior Technician

Connections Behavior is in search of a full-time behavior therapist (32-40 hours a week) to work as a clinic based ABA Therapists in our Kent Center. NO weekend work is required. This is an entry level position where you will receive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). RBT's are responsible for delivering instruction to students with autism, challenging behaviors, and other special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training, and you will be provided with multiple weekly opportunities to collaborate with experienced BCBA. Transitions into a school based setting after gaining experienced in a center based setting will be encouraged and includes a pay increase. School based positions are available in a variety of locations throughout King County.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 with clients with developmental disabilities and/or emotional behavior disorders
  • Follow behavior plans and acquisition plans created by a BCBA
  • Take data on all target behaviors
  • Attend team meetings
  • Debrief with parents/teachers daily
  • Write daily session notes
  • Collaborate with BCBA during observations
  • Daily set up and clean up

Minimum Qualifications:

  • *Bachelor's degree required.* Preferred if in psychology, social work, education, or related field
  • Experience working with children and/or people with disabilities
  • Strong desire to work with students with special needs
  • A strong desire to work in a dynamic team and advance their knowledge and skills in Applied Behavior Analysis and Natural Environment Training.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to pass criminal background clearance
  • CPR certified (within 30 days)
  • TB test (within 10 days)

Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention is a licensed Behavioral Health Agency based in Kirkland, Washington looking for BCBA’s to join our team of highly skilled clinicians. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality services to our clients through small BCBA caseloads, extensive RBT training, a 10-20% supervision model, ongoing BCBA support, and professional development opportunities.

Center/school based BCBA job responsibilities:

  • Conduct intakes and create treatment plans
  • Write acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans
  • Conduct FBA’s, FA’s, indirect assessments, and criterion-based assessments

  • Provide feedback and ongoing training to RBT’s
  • Analyze data and implement/adjust interventions

School Consult BCBA job responsibilities:

  • Conduct classroom assessments
