The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) has awarded Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention with a 2-year Accreditation, recognizing the organization as a top behavioral service provider in the country. The Accreditation celebrates exceptional behavioral health providers that excel in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction and qualifications, and consumer satisfaction. These areas are measured via a wide-ranging audit, including interviews with agency clinical leadership, a detailed staff qualification review, anonymous staff satisfaction survey, and anonymous consumer satisfaction survey.
About Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE): The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence is an international accrediting body that recognizes top-performing behavioral health providers. BHCOE offers a third-party measurement system that differentiates top services providers from exceptional services providers. The BHCOE criterion features standards that subject-matter experts developed to measure state-of-the-art behavioral health services.
BHCOE is an international accrediting body used to help funders and identify quality behavioral health providers. Acting as a third-party, the organization systematically measures and reports on existing quality criteria in the behavior analysis community using standardized methods and practices, and awards only those service agencies that meet these standards.
“Connections Behavior Planning & Intervention was founded to positively impact the lives of our students and their families. We wanted to provide high quality services through our highly trained staff and set the standard for high- quality ABA services in Washington State. We could not be prouder that every day Connections staff enrich the lives of students, staff, and families,” said founders James Kidwell (PhC, BCBA) and Paul Mullan (PhD, BCBA-D).
We have openings available at our Kent Center starting early 2018:
8725 South 212th Street
Kent, WA 98031
AM Session: 8:00am – 11:35am
PM Session: 12:30pm - 4:05pm
Our center-based program for 2-5 year olds is up and running and we are close to capacity – only a couple spots are left open. Children attend the program at our Kent Office for 3 to 6 hours each day (dependent upon need and approval). We have designed the center-based program to improve learning outcomes for our students and their families. Our therapists, guided by the program team (including parents and a BCBA), engage in a variety of evidence-based practices to meet student’s individual needs. The use of pivotal response treatment, incidental teaching, structured teaching techniques, embedded instruction, social skills instruction, and discrete trial training are all utilized to meet the individual needs of the child.
We are currently in search of a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst to support our behavior technicians, students, and their families. Applicants must be organized, personable, collaborative, dependable, and motivated to continue learning. We're looking to fill this position as soon as possible. Please call or e-mail for more information.
